Appearances

The Boat House is also home of the Lewis & Clark Discovery Expedition of St. Charles, Missouri, a nationally recognized group of re-enactors dedicated to maintaining the legacy of Lewis & Clark. This dedicated corps of volunteers, consisting of men, women and young adults provides ongoing appearances and demonstrations to promote living history.

Re-enactment events range from historical milestones derived from the Journals to local encampments, demonstrations of period tools, everyday living, and various trade skills. Members of the Lewis & Clark Discovery Expedition of St. Charles, Missouri present at historical sites nationwide, local and regional organizations, municipal events, professional groups, as well as senior and student group events.
